I always panic on topics that I can use. There are so many Things I buy on a daily basis, it's struggling to chose what is interesting and what's not!!!! Man - that's hard!
I often buy fanta fruit twist..... Most days!! It's so good, it's great that someone else has the same amount of likeness for it too... A good friend!

Need not want...
As I've written before, what do we 'need'.. And what do we 'want'
A need for myself at this present time was to buy paracetamol, cough medicine.... And chocolate! Now, chocolate isn't a need, but I guess I can play the female card once... Or twice... Or like a million times! My cough/choking/stupid illness is back... With a vengeance!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh and I'll give you an update on my nights sleep with my water bottle = dreamy!!!!

My hot water bottle....
I've had a lot of love in my life..... But my hot water bottle is high up on my list! Who doesn't love a hot water bottle?! Especially one as beautiful as mine!
Not only does it supply warmth and soothes your stomach BUT it's incredibly fashionable... Of course you have to dress it - wouldn't want a naked one!!!!

word for the month
Encouragement........
What a fabulous word!
It's funny how with just a few words - or even one, you can brighten someones day! I love being encouraged, about anything....
I try to encourage people as much as I can.........
So my encouragement for today is.............
Don't spend tomorrow's money today!

In with the crowd
I have a new phone! An iPhone to be exact, not a huge fan of them.... But love that I can blog from it! Happy days!
I actually haven't bought a single item of clothing or shoes this week... Very proud of myself! Guess it always helps when you definitely don't have any money at all!!!!
Bye for now...x

Every girls dream
The day I got to be a princess.....
Can everyone say that in their wardrobe..... they have a disney princess dress? I don't think so! I have so much love for this outfit, I will never be able to explain my love for it. I had so many princesses to pick from, but I couldn't say what tipped me towards Belle. She's just beautiful, and the dress...simply stunning.

One of my best purchases ....
Cruella DeVille lipstick...
Man how I love Disney.. and when it's joined with make up.... just amazing!
I'm not one for wearing a huge amount of make up.. although over the years that has varied. I love natural looking make up, which for me, is why I love MAC make up so much! They literally do every colour in every item! Love love love...
It can sometimes be a bit pricey, but their products last quite a long time. Their products definitely have the feel good factor when applied to your face, even if it's just a smidge of bronzer or lippy! I keep forgetting that if you recycle 5/6 empty product cases etc you get a free lipstick or nail polish... I must remember that next time I'm shopping!
Over the last few months I've bought 6 different lipsticks from MAC! All pretty similar colours, and yet, I hardly wear them. It's just something I never seem to apply when doing my make up... I guess you can't really complain about having 'naked' lips!

Keep calm....
Whoever thought of this keep calm phrase, is a genius! We all know a bit of retail therapy...well, is therapy! Don't you hate those days, where you're in need of a bit of therapy, a time to be selfish, a time for you to grow in your relationship with your debit card... and then, bammm! A dress doesn't fit, or you feel fat or bloated. Those days can be pretty brutal, but at least your feet will never change - unless you're pregnant that is! Let's face it.. your day is ruined.
I often wonder, what it is that actually can put us in a bad mood, just from something going wrong when shopping. I'd love to be able to study that switch in our minds that decide how we are going to react to a situation.. because it's not the end of the world!
Ka-ching!
I'm often reminded of the Shania Twain song - Ka-ching! I'll just put it out there, I could sing you the song, off by heart! In her lyrics she describes, the greed in the world, that we are centered around money, and its place in society. I guess if you've worked hard to be where you are in whatever situation you find yourself in, then it's primarily your choice with what you do with your money.
Having worked in retail, the noise of a cash machine opening and closing, doesn't quite create a 'ka-ching' sound. In fact, it's more like slamming a door. I have to say, I absolutely hated working in retail, I thought I'd like it, and of course the discount is a positive - dependent on where you work! but it put me off shopping, the thought of seeing another item of clothing made me feel sick. That feeling of course didn't last long when pay day arrived!
I'm not one for shopping for handbags, or much of a buyer for jewellery. Clothes - yes! Shoes - most definitely! Man, I love a good shoe shop! I have a budget on how much I can spend on a pair of shoes - unless, they're amazing! The other day, I browsed the new look sale shoe section, found a gorgeous pair of brown wedges, size 5... but there was no sale price on them, so I said to myself that if it was too good to be true, and they weren't in the sale, then I wouldn't buy them. I stared hopefully at the till screen, which was about to show the price that determined the outcome of a successful shopping trip.... £7!!!!!!!! It took a lot of self control not to do a dance or shout 'whoooop' at the top of my voice, yes I know you're thinking I have serious issues! but I do love a good bargain! I mean, it would be cruel to leave them on the shelf!
You will think I'm even more crazy after I tell you of my love for dance shoes - they're on a whole new level! I could spend hours in dance shops, just browsing, trying shoes on. I absolutely loved when my ballet shoes, were so worn, that I needed to buy a new pair. Satin were my favourite, oh and the ribbons once they're sewn on.... eeeek! They're just soooo beautiful, every girl should at least own a set of ballet shoes during their life time!

A four letter word
Have you ever just been 'window shopping' or you're on a mission to get something specific, and your eyes are drawn to a four letter word, sale. The thing that the majority of women have in common, is the need to 'just have a look' at how many items that they can purchase within their budget, or in most cases, whatever they have left in their bank account.
Now I however, am a student, with a slight dent in my overdraft, with an obsessive love for shopping. I didn't think that I had that much of a problem with shopping, but the reality is, I do. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with shopping, making yourself feel lovely, updating your wardrobe - just not when it's not needed!
I've always struggled with the difference between 'want' and 'need' ... as you're brought up, they are the terms that are taught to you, to understand the difference. I always wonder, at what point, does this not apply in my case for buying clothes or shoes... or accessories! I, without fail, always return home having purchased something whilst being in town. Even if that be, earrings, journal - love them! or a scarf... yes, I'll admit, I have a slight weakness for scarves! I dread to think how much money I have spent on scarves, but I guess the positive is that there will always be a time to wear them!
My favourite part of shopping, is receiving your purchase, in a fresh, 'ironed' bag. You know then, it's yours to take home. I quite like the idea of having to pay 5p for a bag, as it goes to charity and saves the amount of bags that are used - but, I always forget to take a bag in with me, and I love the feeling of a new bag, I guess it's a feeling of ownership.
But when your card bill comes in at the end of the month....that feeling isn't so great!
